WhatsApp Plus is an optional subscription service that Meta launched on May 27th, 2026. Its a service that gives you additional features inside of the app. WhatsApp still remains free with private messages and calls.

- Sharing exclusive stickers with special effects
- Choose unique app styles and icons to customize your WhatsApp
- You can pin up to 20 chats that are important to you at the top
- Set tones for important contacts
- Customize your chat list with alerts, ringtones and custom styles
How To Subscribe to WhatsApp Plus
Click on "You" at the bottom right corner of the screen. That will take you to Settings. From there it's simple:

Requirements before Subscribing to WhatsApp Plus
1. You must have a phone number from a country where WhatsApp Plus is available.
2. You must have an active WhatsApp account.
3. You must accept the terms of Service of Meta subscriptions and follow the terms and conditions.
